Hiring process

Most of the time we are hiring for engineering roles – below you will find the process for these roles. The process might differ slightly for other roles.

1st Call

This is a very short call to chat about your application and answer any questions you might have. The goal is to figure out whether working together could be an excellent fit for both sides.

20min scheduled

Code Review Interview

In this session, you'll work through a real code review together with one of our engineers. The goal is to see how you reason about code quality, trade-offs, and end-to-end thinking. Treat it like a collaborative conversation: we're as interested in how you spot and discuss problems as in the conclusions you reach.

30min scheduled

Motivation & Feature Building Interview

You will work with an engineer on a feature design we'd build here at Langfuse. Being familiar with the Langfuse product helps (Overview, Core Concepts, Free Hobby Account).

We want to understand what drives you and how Langfuse fits to your goals. How can working together have a profound impact on your career and what you want to learn by joining Langfuse. We'll talk about your experiences. You'll chat about previous projects you contributed to and are proud of.

60min scheduled, but often concludes after 30min

Super Day

What the heck is a Super Day? We get that a lot. The Super Day is an onsite day in our office where we work together with you on real problems that you might work on in your future role at Langfuse. You will receive a brief ahead of time.
